Wellbeing Week 2026
In April our school celebrated Wellbeing Week to promote positive mental health, kindness, and a stronger sense of community across the school.
We had loads going on all week. Crazy Hair Day helped raise money for Pieta House, and it was great seeing everyone get involved for a good cause. We also had Secret Friends, which added a bit of fun and mystery to the week, and Walk a Mile With a Smile, which got everyone moving and chatting together.
Each day there were mindfulness activities and daily positive messages over the intercom to keep things upbeat. We also got a break from written homework, which definitely made the week feel a bit more relaxed.
One of the highlights was the Birthday Picnic, where everyone mixed together no matter what class they were in. We even had a Thursday off for students (teachers had a training day), which added to the break in routine.
Throughout the week, everyone made gratitude chains, and it was nice to see them grow across the classrooms. To finish it all off, Feel Good Friday let us wear whatever we wanted, which was a perfect way to end a really positive week in school.
Overall, it was a fun, relaxed week that helped everyone feel more connected and reminded us how important wellbeing really is.
