World Book Day 2026

There was great excitement in Knocktemple for World Book Day. Students came to school dressed as characters from their favourite books, bringing lots of colour and fun to the day!

We had a costume parade where some students shared their favourite books with the whole school. There were also plenty of activities taking place in classrooms throughout the day.

Some classes went on a Where’s Wally hunt around the school, where students searched for Wally hidden in different places!

Each child also received a book token to help them choose a new book to read.

It was a lovely day celebrating reading and the joy of books in Knocktemple!
