Lunar New Year
2026 is the year of the horse!
1st and 2nd class have been learning about the history of lunar new year and the festivities that take plave during this time.
Paper Lanterns and Dragons were just some of the crafts we created to kick off the festivities!
Half & Half
First and Second have been learning about symmetry in class this week! We finished the week creating symmetrical portraits of ourselves!
Accelerating through reading!
2nd class have already read 52 books this year and have read over 300,000 words!
We hope to reach 1 million soon!!
Grandparents day
On 21/1 we celebrated grandparents day in 1st and 2nd class. The children created some portraits of their grandparents before decorating them with fabrics and fibres.
Hot Chocolate Party
After earning a gigantic 4000 dojo points 1st and 2nd earned hot chocolate and a treat. What better day to have it than pyjama day!
Rolling into Christmas!
Gymnastics has taken over 1st and 2nd PE lessons this month.
Rolling , tumbling and balancing are just some of the skills we’re practicing.
